Journal of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association 53(2): 67-69

An immunofluorescent antibody test survey in 1998 showed that 1031 (3.24%) of 31 812 dairy cows over 2 years old were positive for antibodies to Neospora caninum at titres of 1600 or more. In the same period Neospora infection was diagnosed pathologically in 2030 aborted fetuses.
