Data (1997-99) on crop yield and crop quality are presented from fertilizer trials in Germany, France, Spain and Italy with the nitrification inhibitor DMPP. Fertilizers (mainly ammonium sulfate nitrate and Nitrophoska) were applied to winter wheat, rice, maize, potatoes, sugarbeet, lettuces, cauliflowers, celery and leeks. Crop yields increased with the use of DMPP, without affecting crop quality.
