Effect of Royal jelly as immunonomodulator in chicks

The experiment was conducted to evaluate possible immunomodulatory role of Royal jelly in the white leg horn cockrels. The chicks from Group A (n=10) were given Royal jelly 10 micro l/bird/day orally until the 28th day of age. Group B (n=10) served as control. The chicks from Group A weighed non-significantly higher than control chicks. The haematological values revealed higher total leucocyte count and absolute lymphocyte count in chicks from Group A.
