Details are given of an 11-year experiment with four different fertilizer treatments: (1) control, no fertilizer; (2) N15P25K21; (3)N22P39K8 + 10 t of manure; and (4) N53P64K14 + 10 t of manure per ha. Results show that manipulation of fertilizer application can alter the structure and chemical composition of the harvest, and the quality of the produce. Figures are given for the removal of N, P and K per 1 t of grain including straw, barley, winter wheat, and winter rye.
