Effect of different dietary protein sources and levels on growth performance, nutrient utilization and carcass characteristics of growing New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits

Effect of different dietary protein sources and levels on growth performance, nutrient utilization and carcass characteristics of growing New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits

Egyptian Journal of Rabbit Science 10(2): 265-280

The present experiment was carried out in order to investigate the effects of different dietary protein levels and sources on the growth performance, economic efficiency, nutrient utilization and carcass traits of 64 growing NZW rabbits. Rabbits were randomly distributed into 4 groups, 16 rabbits each were housed in individual cages provided with continuous feeders and automatic waterers. Four tested diets were offered to the 4 experimental groups of animals.
