Field investigations conducted from 1981 to 1991 on a leached chernozem of the Krasnoyarsk forest steppe, Russia, showed that organic (manure, green manure, straw) and organomineral systems of fertilization produced positive effects on soil agrophysical properties, aggregate composition, water-resistance of the structure, density and water permeability, as well as on crop yield.
