Effect of nutrition and slaughter weight on chemical composition of empty body weight of Polish merino x Suffolk crossbred rams

20 Suffolk x Polish Merino ram lambs were finished on diets comprising (1) 159 g protein, 150 g fat and 9.1 MJ energy; (2) 159 g protein, 146 g fat and 9.5 MJ energy; (3) 152 g protein, 198 g fat and 11.4 MJ energy; and (4) 153 g protein, 188 g fat and 11.0 MJ energy. Groups 1 and 2 were slaughtered at 30 kg body weight and groups 3 and 4 at 40 kg.
