Field experiments were conducted at Tendani, Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh) during the rainy seasons of 1991 and 1992 to evaluate the effects of P, S and Rhizobium on growth and yield of Blackgram. Inoculation of rhizobium culture on the surface of dry seeds before sowing helped to improve the seed and straw yields.
