Pest Management and Economic Zoology 7(2): 125-130

ISSN/ISBN: 0971-5703

Treatment of 1-, 3- and 5-day-old eggs of Dysdercus koenigii with four benzophenylureas, viz., triflumuron, diflubenzuron, teflubenzuron and flufenoxuron, at 100, 200, 400, 600 and 800 ppm concentration each resulted in strong ovicidal action at 400, 600 and 800 ppm. Triflumuron had the most pronounced effect. Hatchability was affected adversely in eggs of all age groups but there was no hatching in 1- and 3-day-old eggs at 600 and 800 ppm.
