Effect of sources and rates of phosphorus on growth and yield of rice-cowpea sequence

Effect of sources and rates of phosphorus on growth and yield of rice-cowpea sequence

Oryza 36(4): 380-381

Field experiments on the effect of sources of phosphorus at three rates of application (0, 30 and 60 kg P2O5 ha-1) on growth, grain yield and phosphorus-use-efficiency of rice and residual effects of the sources and rates of phosphorus on herbage yield of cowpea (dry season) revealed that P sources (superphosphate, diammonium phosphate, urea nitrate phosphate and ammonium polyphosphate) did not influence significantly the grain yield of rice or the cowpea fodder yield.
