Electrophoretic test for efficiency of soil humic acids fractionation by gel chromatography and ultrafiltration

Humic acids (HAs) extracted from chernozems with sodium pyrophosphate were fractionated by gel chromatography (GC) on a Sephadex G-75 column using 7 M urea as an eluant and ultrafiltration (UF) in the presence of 7 M urea or water. Chromatographic fractions and UF fractions from YM100, YM30, YM10, and YM5 membranes were analysed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE).
