The yield and quality of 14 coconut genotypes were evaluated in Tamil Nadu, India The dwarf genotypes Malayan Dwarf Yellow and Malayan Dwarf Green were the most suitable for tender coconut purpose, with high volume of coconut water (314 ml), high total (6.81 and 6.68 mg/100 g, respectively) and reducing sugars (4.61 and 4.48 mg/100 g, respectively), and low K (2054 and 2164 ppm, respectively) and Na content (26 and 25 ppm, respectively).
