The phylogenetic relationships and patterns of nucleotide substitution were compared for introns and exons of class II MHC genes in three datasets: human DRB1, human DQA1, and cyprinid fish (Barbus bocagei, Barbus intermedius and Cyprinus carpio) DAB1.
