Explaining child malnutrition in developing countries. A cross-country analysis

Research Report International Food Policy Research Institute ( 111): xiii + 112 pp.

The paper considers why some countries and regions have done better than others in combating child malnutrition. It uses historical cross-country data to answer this question. The study aims to improve understanding of the relative importance of the various determinants of child malnutrition, both for the developing countries as a whole and for each individual region.
