Extreme resistance to potato viruses Y and X and field resistance to potato virus S in Polish potato cultivars

Extreme resistance to potato viruses Y and X and field resistance to potato virus S in Polish potato cultivars

Biuletyn Instytutu Hodowli i Aklimatyzacji Roslin ( 214): 231-238

Based on results obtained at Mochow in 1997 and 1999, extreme resistance to potato virus Y (PVY) was found in 17 Polish potato cultivars: Ania, Anielka, Barycz, Baszta, Beata, Bekas, Bzura, Dunajec, Fregata, Hinga, Klepa, Maryna, Meduza, Nimfy, Omulew, Stobrawa and Vistula. The presence of extreme resistance to PVY was confirmed in the Dutch cultivar Sante.
