Field experiments for comparison of winter wheat conservation tillage and conventional tillage

Field experiments comparing 6 conservation tillage treatments and a conventional treatment were conducted. Results from 6 years showed that the average water storage in fallow and the average water use efficiency of the conservation tillage treatments for winter wheat were about 9% and 13%, respectively, higher than that of the conventional tillage treatment. Therefore, the average yield of the former was increased by 13% as compared to that of the latter.
