Genetic analysis of pod and seed characters in crosses of large-seeded virginia genotypes of groundnut

Genetic analysis of pod and seed characters in crosses of large-seeded virginia genotypes of groundnut

International Arachis Newsletter ( 20): 10-11

Twenty-eight crosses were undertaken involving 8 Arachis hypogaea genotypes crossed in a diallel fashion excluding reciprocals. F1s and F2s were grown along with the parents and information recorded on pod yield, shelling percentage, percentage of mature seeds and 100-seed weight.
