Genetic analysis of quantitative characters in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)

A 6x6 diallel analysis was undertaken with a view to study genetical effects and components of variation for quantitative traits. Significant dominant effects were observed for seed cotton yield. Days to first flower and bolls/plant indicated significant additive effects.
