Cultivation P. sajor-caju has been gaining popularity in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra State, India. For production, the polythene bag method is recommended for indoor cultivation using a rack system either of bamboo or steel. The use of containers instead of polythene bags to increase production was investigated. Conventional production was compared with production using circular perforated plastic trays and an assembly of a steel disc, a rod and a straw cylinder.
