Influence of seed vigour on seed quality attributes and seed rate compensation on yield in maize

Fresh seeds of maize Deccan 103 were subjected to accelerated aging conditions for 0, 4, 6 or 8 days to produce seeds of different vigour levels. Germination percentage, vigour index and seedling dry weight decreased but electrical conductivity increased as the period of accelerated aging increased.
