Practical design diagrams, photographs and costings for modification of a HARDI Linkage Sprayer with a 12 m boom, mounted on a normal tractor, are presented. The concept of this system is that the droppers are attached rigidly to the existing boom framework so that they can force a pathway through overlapping sweetcorn foliage as the tractor removes down the block, thus allowing the nozzles to deposit spray in the target zone at all times.
