The effects of different concentrate levels on voluntary intake and apparent total and partial digestibilities of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), ether extract (EE), neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and total carbohydrates (TCH), in the rumen and intestines were evaluated. Five rumen and abomasally fistulated Holstein calves, initial average age 5.8 months and 107.4 kg liveweight were allotted to a 5 x 5 Latin square design (treatment x period).
