Integrated GIS and the Bystrianka hydrological model for simulation of the quantity and quality of seasonal snow cover and calculation of the water flow hydrogram

Integrated GIS and the Bystrianka hydrological model for simulation of the quantity and quality of seasonal snow cover and calculation of the water flow hydrogram

Lesnicky Casopis 46(1): 37-57

An evaluation is made of the Bystrianka model (Babiakova et al., 1988) after its adaptation to use in the Arc Info GIS environment. The model is a tool for simulation and prediction of the water supply in snow cover, discharge from a mountain watershed and sulfate concentration (resulting from acid deposition) in the snow water.
