Integrated control of Phytophthora capsici in pepper. I. Effect of antagonist fungi on plant growth

The effect of Trichoderma harzianum, Gliocladium virens and K2HPO4 on the in vitro control of Phytophthora capsici and on Capsicum annuum growth was evaluated. The radial growth of P. capsici was inhibited in cultures with both antagonists. T. harzianum and G. virens significantly increased (P<=0.05) C. annuum seed germination, compared to the control treatment without antagonists.
