Integrated weed management and its economics in soybean (Glycine max)

A field experiment was conducted in Indore, India, during kharif 1997 to evaluate integrating herbicide applications with intercultivations in soyabean on weed control efficiency, crop performance and seed yield. Twenty-one treatments, involving pendimethalin, imazethapyr, anilophos trifluralin and alachlor as sole applications, herbicide mixtures and in combination with intercultivation, and manual weed control alone, were tested. Data on weed control, crop yields and costs are tabulated.
