Gujarat Agricultural University Research Journal 24(2): 7-12



Field studies conducted in Junagadh, India, on vertisol soils during the rabi seasons of 1992-96 showed that the maximum grain and fodder yield (1432 and 1660 kg ha-1, respectively) and highest net return (Rs. 15450 ha-1) were obtained following one hand weeding + intercropping at 30-35 days after sowing.
