Integrating emissions at a farm scale

Integrating emissions at a farm scale

DIAS Report, Horticulture (21): 11-15

The latest developments in the FASSET farm-scale model, with emphasis on the management of animal manure are presented. The model has been expanded to describe cattle farming and improve the description of manure handling. The improvements include the capacity to house more than one animal type in an animal house and a more detailed description of ammonia emission from animal housing, storage and field-applied manures. Animal and housing models are also presented.
