Intensity of diseases on winter wheat in relation to method of chemical control

During 1995-1997 the health status of winter wheat in plot experiments in Poland was estimated. The aim of our studies was to determine the effectiveness of fertilizer - pesticide mixtures in controlling diseases of winter wheat. The highest values of infestation index of wheat by Septoria leaf spot and glume blotch (Phaeosphaeria nodorum) were in the untreated control.
