Inter-generation correlations in chickpea

Fifty F2 chickpea (Cicer arietinum) crosses were advanced to the F5 generation via random selection, with 10% selection intensity in each generation. Data were recorded at harvest for seed yield/plant, pods/plant, seeds/pod and 100-seed weight. Data are tabulated on F2-F3, F3-F4 and F4-F5 intergeneration correlations for these traits.
