Interaction between chemical dressings and Rhizobium inoculant on pea seeds

Pea seeds were treated with chemical dressings Dithane M45 (mancozeb), Marshal 250 DS (carbosulfan) or Sarfun T65 DS (20% carbendazim, 45% thiuram and then inoculated with nitragin containing root-nodule bacteria, Rhizobium leguminosarum biov. viciae. After 0-1 h, 4-5 h and 23-24 h following inoculation, the survival of rhizobia on seeds was examined by dilution plate method. At the same time treated seeds were sown in autoclaved sand in plastic pouches.
