Interaction between isolates of Puccinia polysora and maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes in relation to components of aggressiveness

Interaction between isolates of Puccinia polysora and maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes in relation to components of aggressiveness

Ciencia e Agrotecnologia 24(3): 653-662

The interactions between 6 maize genotypes (HT16C, HD9536, 95HD60QPM, HD9481, HD9555 and HD9548) and 4 Puccinia polysora isolates (4.96, 8.96, 27.96 and 6C.95) were investigated in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Seedlings in the four- to five-leaf stage of development were sprayed with a uniform spore suspension (2 x 104 spores/ml) of each isolate.
