The yield and biomass production was higher in G. fasciculatum inoculated plants compared to uninoculated and H. cajani inoculated plants in pot experiments. Cowpea pod yield per plant was high (8.9 g) in G. fasciculatum inoculated plants and low (5.9 g) in H. cajani inoculated plants. The uninoculated control gave a yield of 6.9 g.
