Interaction of ethylene with jasmonates in the regulation of some physiological processes in plants

Interaction of ethylene with jasmonates in the regulation of some physiological processes in plants

Biology and biotechnology of the plant hormone ethylene II Proceedings of the EU TMR Euroconference Symposium, Thira Santorini, Greece, 5-8 September, 1998: 173-180

Jasmonates stimulate ethylene production. The relationships between ethylene and jasmonates in fruit growth and ripening (apples, tomatoes and strawberries), in gum induction, in seed germination and in response to physical injury, pathogen infection and herbivore and insect attack are discussed.
