Kinetic alterations of immune function of immune organs in SPF chickens infected with reticuloendotheliosis virus

Kinetic alterations of immune function of immune organs in SPF chickens infected with reticuloendotheliosis virus

Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science 20(4): 335-338

Proliferation responses of T and B lymphocytes were measured in the spleen, thymus and bursa fabricii of SPF chickens after i.p. inoculation with reticuloendotheliosis virus. Following infection with REV, the proliferative responses of T lymphocytes from both thymus and spleen were significantly decreased 7-49 days and 14-19 days, respectively, after infection (PI).
