Modelling agriculture in the Re ic of Ireland: Agenda 2000 impacts Paper presented at the Agricultural Economics Society in Belfast, Irish Re ic, 26-29 March, 1999: 27 pp.

Despite the strong growth of the Irish economy in recent years, the agriculture and food sectors in Ireland are still of considerable importance relative to the sector in other EU countries. Ireland's reliance on third markets, and the importance of the livestock sector as a whole have meant that difficulties facing EU agriculture have been particularly acute. Results of a simulation of the March 1998 Agenda 2000 proposals are presented.
