Eight insecticides were screened in vitro (25, 50, 100 and 500 ppm concentrations) for their effects on the radial growth of Rhizoctonia solani cultured on PDA. The tested insecticides were Milate 10 CG (phorate), Milfen 20 EC (fenvalerate), Milphos 36 SL (monocrotophos), Cypermil 25 EC (cypermethrin), Thiodon 35 EC (endosulfan), Metasystox 25 EC (demeton-O-methyl), Nuvan 76 EC (dichlorvos) and Kelthane 18.5 EC (dicofol).
