A field experiment was conducted during rabi of 1992, 1994 and 1995 in Tamil Nadu, India. In the main plot, presowing application of glyphosate (1.0% glyphosate, G1) was compared with no application (G2) to sole groundnut (I1), groundnut + green gram (I2) and groundnut + red gram (3).
