Observations on some energy plants among the tribals of Madhya Pradesh

The forests of Madhya Pradesh are quite rich in raw materials for timber, firewood, medicinal and other economic plants and plant products. A large number of tribal and rural population of M.P. are dependent on the forest resources of the state for fuelwood and charcoal. They collect and utilize many wild woody shrubs and trees from their surrounding forests for fuelwood purposes.
