Occurrence of weeds in early transplanted rice by seedling-broadcasting and their control in Wenzhou, Zhejiang

Field weed studies showed that Echinochloa crus-galli, Sagittaria pygmaea, Rotala indica, Cyperus difformis and Eleocharis yokoscensis were the main weed species in early transplanted rice by seedling-broadcasting in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. Among them, E. crus-galli was dominant. Weed damage to rice was heavier in seedling-broadcasting fields than in dibbling fields.
