Options for pastures on the steeper country of the Central and Southern Tablelands of NSW

Options for pastures on the steeper country of the Central and Southern Tablelands of NSW

Proceedings of the First STIPA Native Grasses Association Conference, Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia, 16-17 March 2000: 76-88

Native and naturalised pastures dominate the Tablelands landscape throughout New South Wales, Australia, particularly in the semi-arable to non-arable areas. They can be managed to provide grazing, ground cover, clean water or biodiversity on a whole farm basis. The balance of pasture types selected will vary according to the natural resource base present and farm goals.
