Investigation was carried out at the University farm at Kalyani to test the performance of 4 groundnut varieties using different sources of sulfur. TG-19A and JL-24 performed better than the other two varieties tested, though they were at par as regards to yield attributes. Sulfur application significantly improved yield and yield attributes. Among the S-sources, gypsum was superior to S.S.P., the latter being superior to pyrites in case of pod and kernel yield.
