Sequential spray schedules of insecticides to control bollworms as target pests in addition to certain sap suckers as non-target pests in cotton fields

Egyptian Journal of Agricultural Research 77(3): 1155-1162

The effectiveness of 7 sequential spray schedules of insecticides for the control of bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella and Earias insulana) populations in cotton fields was studied. The additional effects on populations of 4 sap sucking pests was also studied (Aphis gossypii, Empoasca lybica Bemisia tabaci and Tetranychus spp.). Experiments were carried out in 1995 and 1996 in Kerf El-Sheikh governorate, Egypt.
