Some freshwater gastropods from Baluchestan and Sistan province, south-east of Iran

Journal of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran 55(3): 49-51

Many freshwater molluscs act as a host snails for parasitic trematodes of medical and/or veterinary importance. Most freshwater bodies of Baluchestan and Sistan were surveyed for potential intermediate host snails. 14 taxa, including 12 at species level vs. 2 genera, were found in 2 records of Iran molluscs search during 1990.
