Some remarks about Ananteris festae Borelli, 1899 and description of a new species of Ananteris Thorell from Ecuador (Scorpiones, Buthidae)

New considerations regarding the taxonomic position of A. festae are proposed and a new species of Ananteris, A. mariaelenae sp. nov. is described from the coastal region of Ecuador. This is the third species of Ananteris known from that country.
