Studies on the effect of growth regulators on off season flower production in Jasminum sambac

In a field experiment conducted in Tamil Nadu, India 15-year-old J. sambac bushes were sprayed with NAA at 10, 25 and 50 ppm; Cycocel at 250, 500 and 1000 ppm; paclobutrazol at 10, 20 and 30 ppm; and methanol at 10, 20 and 30% (25 days after pruning and 20 days later) to induce off-season flowering. The bushes were pruned in the 2nd week of September, 2 months before flowering.
