The Tloo-qua-nah principle in forest sustainability: a First Nations perspective

Some illustrations are presented of an aboriginal world view and behaviour that relate to sustainable uses of forest resources - specifically the differing holistic perspective on biodiversity in comparison with western or industrial attitudes towards forestry and the importance of balance and respect in human relationships with the land.
