The effect of organic amendments on the behaviour of methidathion in soils of Vega de Granada

The effect of organic amendments on the behaviour of methidathion in soils of Vega de Granada

Estudios de la Zona no Saturada del Suelo IV Jornadas de Investigacion en la Zona no Saturado, Valle Guerra, Tenerife, 3-5 November 1999: 109-114

The effect of several organic amendments on the behaviour of an organophosphorous insecticide, methidathion was studied in four plots in the Vega de Granada, SE Spain. Water from the vadose zone, sampled with porous ceramic cups, as well as soil at different depths were analysed. Amendments applied consisted of urban sewage sludge and a cationic surfactant: tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, both combined and on their own.
