The influence of genotypes on indices of fattening and carcass quality parameters in pigs

During the years 1997 and 1998 the following indices of fattening and carcass quality parameters in pigs were observed at a pig-fattening station average daily weight-gain, carcass length of trunk in cm, the area of the musculus longissimus in cmsuperscript 2 on a cross-section, meat weight from the thigh in % of the half weight and thickness of bacon in cm.
