Field trials were conducted at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture in Dotnuva on a light loamy soddy-gleyic soil in 1993-1997. Spring oilseed rape (Brassica napus) Star was used to study the influence of stand population density on N, P and K content at different growth stages. As stand density increased, the content of nitrogen at the 4-5 leaf stage, at the beginning of flowering and at the seed development stage increased.
