Using of plant resistance activator in protection of winter wheat against fungal diseases

Using of plant resistance activator in protection of winter wheat against fungal diseases

Progress in Plant Protection 39(2): 818-822

During 1996-1998 we estimated the effect of plant resistance activator Bion 50 WG applied on large commercial fields and experimental plots of winter wheat in Poland. Induced resistance of plants to diseases was observed. In conditions of high and moderate levels of infection, winter wheat plants exhibited an increased resistance to powdery mildew A long-lasting resistance to this disease during 7-8 weeks was stated.
